Pedophile stopped taking chemical castration drugs Karen Kleiss, edmontonjournal.com Published: Wednesday, July 04 EDMONTON - A pedophile who has admitted to assaulting more than 50 boys decided to stop taking chemical castration drugs because he wanted to have his sex life back, the man's psychiatrist testified today. Forensic psychiatrist Dr. Curtis Woods told the court that 31-year-old Christopher Robin Karasek consistently disregards what he has learned in years of sex-offender therapy and once chose to stop taking Androcur, a chemical sexual suppressant used to treat pedophiles. "He voluntarily discontinued the medication and he has acknowledged that he did so so he could get his sex life back," Woods testified at the man's dangerous offender hearing. There really are no more treatments ... than what he has received." The crown is seeking to have Karasek declared a dangerous offender, which means he will be sentenced to life in prison without parole. The hearing continues tomorrow. Do you suppose there is an effective way to combine Androcur, hydroquinone skin bleach, and the 9mm dose of copper covered lead? We're [tinw] thinking a single well placed injection would be a very permanent solution for another sort of problem...
