Anyone can put them in a tank but the important question is...

>2   will they be ok?

What kind of fish are they? Are they just normal plain looking
goldfish (in which case yes, they should be fine) or are they
fancy ones (in which case they have been bred to be decorative
and I dont know how hardy they will be)?

I don't know much about goldfish, but I adopted all kinds of
fish from a friend who was moving, and his common-or-garden
goldfish went into a friend's pond. In fact, I'm told it is
really happy now with the other fish in there and it sounds
like a successful rehoming.

>3   anyone living in dunstable area have room for 2 goldfish?

If you are desparate, ask your local fish shop if they will
take them - better that and then they get sold to someone with
room than you have to kill them.

Hope that helps, sorry I don't know any more to add.

thanks Flash
i am just trying to find solutions to a problem that might not happen

we have to move - we rent and the property we are hoping to be renting says
no  pets

but the last 3 places we have been have  also said the same, but we have
been ok - i mean we have had landlords that don`t mind fish

the last twice moves  (terrible grammar)  have not been far apart but this
time is approx  3 hr move

more fish  -  making sure we  don`t mix the babies with the spotty catfish

Fair enough!

I never count fish as pets. The aquarium is more like an item of
furniture - if it was a planted one (i.e you were just doing it
because you love aquascaping) they might think you were weird but
they wouldn't be able to stop you. So what's a few fish in there
as well? They don't dig holes or pee on things or leave hair or smell!

Ok, well have a look at http://www.gorge.org/fish/moving.shtml if you
need advice but it sounds like you have it covered!

To be honest I think a fish is ok in a bag for one hour or six.
I hate to see them in there, but if they are bagged and settled
there is no harm leaving them longer. Just make sure your filter
media is kept damp but open to the air and you'll be sorted.

Good luck!

Best thing to do is ask, at worst you will get a no, but you might be
surprised :)

Half fill box so there is a good air space then lids on tight.

Works for me,
