Hi

Recently I was given a small Elephant Nose.  It's settled in very well
and I'm very pleased with the little fellow.

My problem now is that this morning one of my Platys in the same tank
has just started with Velvet.  In my other tank I have used Protozin at
half dosage (Clowns) before, but the instructions say that it can't be
used with an Elephant Nose present.

Having a look around on the web, I can't find any definitive answer on
how to treat Velvet (or White Spot) when you have an Elephant Nose.  I
haven't been to my LFS for advice yet, so I'd appreciate any
recommended products/solutions, especially those that don't affect the
bio-filtration.

Regards,

Ed.
