Have two 150W Interpet heaters in my tank. I have noticed a steady increase in temperature ofver the last few weeks which is bordering on 80F I have turned down the knob on the top of the heaters to reduce the temp at which the heater activates yet there seems little difference. The temps indicated on the heaters bear no reflection to the actual temp of the water. Have two 150W Visi-Therms installed and the temp is now down to 77F. Reassuringly, the Visi have a 5 year guarantee.
