I already have a male bristle nose plec in my community tank, along with a
royal plec, and banjo plec and a common plec. Have no idea of the sex of
those (or how to tell to be honest). All, touch wood, co exist quite
happily, sharing the odd courgette or cucumber with the clown loaches. I'd
quite like to get a couple of female bristle nose but have been told the
other plecs might get aggressive towards either them or each other.
Is this correct?

Male bristlenose plecos has the "bristles" not only across their lip
(like some females), but also up the center of their face (females
don't).

My bristlnose is definitely male but I don't know about my royal, common or
banjo. I'm a little worried that if I add a female bristlnose, it might
instigate aggression between the various species of plecs, yet at the same
time, I'd love to breed from my male
