Hello all - I have an 8 year old spayed half Siamese cat who throws up
frequently.  Other than that, she is extremely healthy, active, eats well,
plays, etc., but is very high strung.  Is vomiting a common trait for
Siamese cats?  Is there such a thing as kitty Prozac that might help her?
My carpets are being ruined, but I love my cat and don't want to have to
give her away.  Thanks for any info you can give.

Sounds like a visit to the vet is in order. Routine bloodwork with Thyroid
levels may be helpful in diagnosis.

Yes, she should be seen by a vet. Vomiting can be a symptom of many diseases
(inflammatory bowel disease, hyperthyroidism, chronic renal failure, etc).

She is a real hellcat and a fighter.  Will a vet give me something to calm
her before we take her in?  We've had her in vet's offices where they are
afraid to handle her.

Yes, tell them at the vet's office and they can give you something to sedate
her.
