Chylothorax research - where is it?

Is there an organization or something that researches chylothorax in
cats, that I could make a donation to? I realize that there are many
veterinary colleges and such things that research illnesses/diseases
that accept donations but I want the money I donate to be used to
research chylothorax.  I thought maybe there was an organization that
focuses specifically on that illness. Does anyone know of such a
place? If not, what organization focuses on that illness the most?

That's all probably very silly as it probably shouldn't matter as long
as I donate to a good cause. But last year my cat died from or because
of chylothorax. The doctor said he hadn't seen that in an animal in
years and much isn't known about it. It just seems like more research
is going into other things that aren't nearly as important.

This website says it's under active research.

But I found no organization.  There are people currently investigating
treatments, etc.  Here's some of them:

..........Apparently this disease occurs more frequently in the Siamese cat.
Whether or not your kitty was a Siamese, you could try to find a Siamese
organization that supports research into this area.

......I'm sorry you lost your kitty.  Seems there are more diseases under
the sun that our friends can die of.
