The community where i live, have a nice population of ducks. A while
ago my wife and i started to feed a baby duckling who was the only one
that survived, but after a while was rejected by his mother. He has
been living around our house's garden, being protected by another
female duck that is hatching there. Until yesterday the duckling has
been extremely happy, but today I noticed in the morning some blood
drops and when i check him, he has what looks to me like part of his
intestines out (small amount, but enough for the blood). I nned some
advice into what could be the cause and mainly how to cure him. He is
very active and seems to be ok, but i am worry that the blood that he
is missing plus the fact that he has the section of the intestine
exposed might cause a problem.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

It sounds like he has a prolapsed cloaca.
Here is an article describing the use of white oak bark.

Thanks a lot for the adviced. We were able to get the intestines in,
on Friday, but unfortunately today he woke up in the same condition, i
guess because we did not apply any medicine to reduce the swollennes
(we did not know). I am currently looking for the white oak bark
powder and plan to gently using ky jelly get his organ in again, and
apply twice a day to the area outside the preparation that they
recommend in the article you suggested (Vaseline or Olive oil and
white oak bark powder). I really hope he gets better.
Thanks a lot one more time
