Whenever my cats see a fly they go nuts until they catch it and then they eat it.  Nothing
excessive but in the summer months maybe 3 or 4 a months.  I heard that it could cause
worms and was wondering if there is any truth to this.

TIA

Indoor or outdoor cats?  For the most part flies don't vector cat "worms",
but I suppose one could make a case for fly landing on pile o' poop, picking
up a larvae or two on its feet, and then getting eaten by your cat.  I
wouldn't sweat it too much.
