Our puppy was vaccinated at 6 weeks.  We are hoping to visit grandparents
for Christmas who have two Staffordshire Bull Terriers, one 4 years old and
one 1 year old.  They have both had booster injections.  Is it safe for us
to visit with our new puppy?

Regards
Jackie

How old is the puppy now?  The vaccines are thought to take three weeks to a
month to provide some level of immunity, and then there's always maternal
antibodies that lessen thier effectiveness to consider (that's why you
booster them).  Then you'd have to consider the health of the dogs you are
exposing your puppy to, both from the infecting and getting infected
standpoint, as disease or parasites can just as easily go from puppy to
older dog.  If you want the safest option, the answer is probably not.
