Dog seems to have clogged nasal passages

Occaisionally my dog would start snorting, like she was trying to clear out
her nasal passage. It happened infrequently but frequently enough to cause
me a bit of concern. Usually it would happen when she was eating, I think
because she bolts her food down very quickly. I mentioned this to my vet and
she told me not to worry about it, but now it's happening even more
frequently. She seems fine otherwise. I plan to take her back to the vet to
get it diagnosed. Any ideas on what could be causing this though?

TIA

........try putting a  big rock in her food bowl so she can't bolt the food
and see if it fixes the problem.  Could be something else, but simple cheap
things are best!

Sorry, but my post may have been misleading. The snorting, sneezing, etc.
can happen even when she is not eating. It just seems to get triggered more
frequently when she eats. It's the snorting and trouble breathing that what
worries me.

When did this start?
How old is she?
Breed, size, etc?
Any previous or ongoing medical problems?

Fully vaccinated?  Here, now is the time of parvo and distemper.  We'll be
overwhelmed until Oct/Nov or so.  Kennel cough too.

Dogs can have allergies.  Definitely worth a trip to the vet if this is
frequent.

She's always had the snorting problem intermittently. Like I said, I told
the vet about it and she said not to worry. However, now it's fairly
frequent -- especially when eating -- and accompanied by sneezing.

> How old is she?
I'm guessing around 10 - 12 years

> Breed, size, etc?

Poodle mix, 12 lbs.

> Any previous or ongoing medical problems?

No.

I have a vet appointment for her tomorrow.

Thanks.
