This is a real long shot but things seem pretty desperate for my 9 YO
German Shepherd dog.
About 5 weeks ago he suudenly stopped peeing apart from a few dribbles.
He'd done this in the past but things had cleared after the vet gave some
antibiotics.
This time hes been tested for everything with nothing unusual seen, had an
op to flush out any blocks (none found) and he still just can't get a
decent flow going. We are catheterising him to drain him out and it seems
better when he is not full, but this doesn't last.
He had a back problem 4 years ago which a vet fixed with an op and I wonder
if this has had anyything to do with it?
He seems a bit more wobbly at his backend than usual.
We cant go on like this but wonder if there is any experience of this
problem here?
Thanks
Mike

This sounds like a problem that is WAAAYYY too complicated to be discussing
in a newsgroup, unless you're willing to get your dog's record and type out
the whole thing. Sorry, but your dogs problem needs a vet who can examine
him, get a good history, and read over his previous record. Can't be done
here.
