Does anyone have advice on how to give a pot bellied pig shots?  We
live to far in the country to have a vet come out every day to give my
pot bellied pig two penicillin shots a day.  He has a respiratory
problem and I've obtained penicillin.  The problem is, we have a very
large pen, and he is a very agile runner.  At first we backed him into
a corner with a board, but he wised up, and now when he sees the board,
he darts off between us.  It's quite an ordeal.  Help!  I love my pig
and want him to get well.

Thanks,

I have never had to deal with this myself, but you might try building a
short chute too narrow to turn around in, with his food or an especially
tasty treat at one end and a board you can slide in right behind him at the
other end. Good luck!

short, sometimes, tasty food stuffs! lol I dunno anything aboiut pigs
though, that's just how I got my dog to stop hiding from the toenail
clippers.
