Can anyone share any success/failure stories about total hip replacement for your dog? Dr Harrison (orthopedic Board certified specialist) about 2 blocks from Ohio state did the work. He's most excellent, and the dog is running around pain free 12 years later. I expected from the nature of her injuries that the injuries would come back and haunt her... not yet. > Western Pennsylvania. I was considering Ohio State. Roe and Marcellin are both amazing orthopedists, and we do a lot of hips. I know one of the residents at OSU, I'll see what he has to say. Sorry I'm not able to help you from experience. Did you take you dog to a local ortho vet, or just your regular vet? Sheri |
