I found maggots on my neighbors dog. I did not know that dogs can even have
maggots. Is this a new disorder? Mike.

Flies have laid eggs in a pre=existing open wound- and this needs treatment.
The wound must be cleaned out and closed by a veterinarian.

Yuck... I hope the dog is seeing a vet about this. I imagine you could get
rid of the grown up maggots yourself, not sure how you'd get rid of the
eggs. Probably need to treat it with something or other...
