How critical is keeping a pup in 2 weeks after the last vaccination? My pup
had her last vaccination last week and now I've been offered the opportunity
to go to stay with a friend for the weekend (9 days after her vaccination)
and I'd have to take her with me. The vet said to keep her in for two weeks
but just how critical is this?

Just call the Vet and ask him his reasons for this.

Puppies aren't fully protected (especially against parvo) until 10-14 days
after the last vaccination.  I doubt it would be too much of a concern, as
long as your friend doesn't have unvaccinated animals, or hasn't had an
animal with parvo in the area in the last few years.  I usually just
recommend that people don't take puppies to pet stores, or the dog park, or
walking in areas other than their immediate home.  I've certainly had plenty
of clients who take their puppies all over the place from the time they get
them, and usually it's no big deal.
