Hey Dr. Deb,
I know that cats can get flukes from dining on our FL anoles, but can you
get the same result from geckos?  Do all small reptilians have the
capability of passing these on?

This year there's been an explosion of geckos in my neighborhood.  I was
thrilled until I found out they weren't native.  ;-(

Honestly I have no idea!  I'll try to remember to look it up at work today.
Somehow I doubt it, because we have a ton of geckos here and I've never once
seen flukes, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Don't know if you're familiar with Dr. Patty's vet blog.  Went back and
reread the post.  I had anoles on the mind and she mentions geckos.  I only
have one cat that dines on lizards - all anoles from the heads I find on the
floor.  ;-(

Googling (got lazy!):
Appears it's lizards, frogs and skinks too......

Well, let me tell you, your Wits' End
Dog Training Method works.

My dog, Dasie, Loves to chase chameleons
around the barbecue on the patio. I
used this system on four different occasions.

When she went out today, she looked
everywhere else but the barbecue.
Amazing, just amazing.

I will write to Amanda about the video.

I am really excited to learn more, and
understand. Maybe just a little reassurance
that I am going about it the right way.

Thanks again
Paul
