Vet visit - now weak cat

I took my cat to the vet today (apparently he had tapeworm).  He also
was treated for an over grooming issue - most likely an allergic
reaction.

He received Drontal tablets for the worms, and a shot of depo medrol
for the grooming.  He also had blood drawn and urinalysis for testing
- this all part of a Feline Comprehensive Profile.

About 6 hours later, he's got some weird back leg issue.  He can't
jump properly and sort of limps around.  His tail isn't down, or up,
more like horizontal.  He still has an appetite, and isn't making any
noises like he's in pain.  I have a call in to the vet, but it's x-mas
eve, so no call back yet.

Q: would he get a shot in the hind quarters?  Maybe he's just sore...

Q: could something else during the exam be causing him discomfort now?

Thanks in advance (and happy holidays)
