I'm a recruiting consultant, currently assisting my client - a well-
established, highly respected Pet Clinic/Complex, celebrating it's
tenth year of providing high quality, compassionate veterinary medical
care and specialty services to it's patients, both traditional and
exotics (including birds, pocket pets, etc.) - in locating two
exceptional Associate Veterinarians to join the professional team in
the greater Miami, FL area.  I'd appreciate your taking the time to
read the rest of this email, in the event that you might know of a
qualified individual - possibly a former associate, or colleague - who
may be qualified for one of these opportunities.

Due to consistent growth and continued addition of new and varied
patient needs, this animal hospital currently has opportunities for
both full-time and part-time Associate Veterinarians to provide
compassionate, customer service-oriented healthcare; who possesses the
necessary licensing, education, training, and experience in providing
high quality medicine and medical care to patients, with the common
goal of improving the quality of life for pets as well as their
owners.

This can be a great opportunity for a truly driven, self-motivated
veterinarian who has successfully and ethically treated pets with the
best possible medical care available, and who can benefit from being a
part of this team environment that supports individual talents with a
competitive annual F-T base salary (a wide range depending upon
breadth and depth of experience level: from $65K for a recent grad, to
$100K+), plus a generous benefits package, and unique, performance-
based incentives/bonuses for professional development and growth
opportunities.   At least one of the successful individuals must also
have the ability and physical/emotional duration to work a flexible
schedule, possibly to include emergency care, since the clinic is open
"24/7."  However, both daytime and night hour shifts are available.

Your time and interests (and any suggestions or comments you can
contribute) regarding these opportunities are certainly appreciated.
If you know of a particularly qualified individual, please let me know
(in confidence of course if you prefer), or feel free to forward my
note - or a "portion thereof."  Sincere regards for continued success
in your own career endeavors, into this New Year and beyond.

OK... OK... Don't shoot the messenger!  Did I really screw this up
that bad??  I just hate routine position descriptions...  This really
IS a good opportunity... but, there appears to be a shortage of good
Vets in the Miami area...?

.......Naw, we were just giving you gas, especially about the Miami area.
<g>  there's probably a reason there's a shortage as people are fleeing the
coasts!  It would take a special kind of city person to take on a job in the
Miami metro area.  I'm just always struck reading these things how flexible
schedule translates into *you cannot have a life because you may be working
at any moment, to be decided week to week.*  Not just vet positions, some
very low paying jobs also preclude having a life.

.......BTW, not many vets hang out here any more.  But I give you high marks
for stopping back in to read and to try to figure out if you could have done
better!  All good things and speaks well of you and your business.  I am not
a vet, but I do live in FL........central FL, wouldn't touch the coasts with
a stick.

Dr. Patty has a vet clinic in Miami.....you might email her.

Interesting - Well, I did say, "Your time and interests (and any
suggestions or comments you can
contribute) regarding these opportunities are certainly appreciated. "
