Golden Retriever approx 7 years old
occasional on /off vomiting since January
Worsened recently to multiple vomiting daily.
Ultrasound report by a veterinarian, this week reads

"Unknown solid area in stomach location.
Possible tumor of stomach, or pancreas including lymph nodes.White
patches in liver: nodular displasia or metastatic tumor."

is there a certainty it's not just a foreign object?
If not certain, can a needle biopsy of the "solid area" not be done at
the same time (during the ultrasound) ?

They're giving up and doing palliative.

I'm wondering if it's possible it's a foreign object ?
Or if they'd gotten a biopsy, install a port and try low-dose <insert
appropriate medications> chemotherapy.

Thanks for any replies.

They didn't mention exploratory surgery?

The dog's too dehydrated. She's feeding / hydrating by mouth and it's
receiving phenobarbital and prednisone.
Husband doesn't believe in chemo, she's agreeing.
She believes the dog would not swallow something.
I was just wondering because a while back she mentioned that one of her 2
dogs was very interested in a mouse that had taken up residence in their
home. But since they are not and/or cannot pursue this, thanks for your
reply.
