her pen through a 3/4 cap , next we here squeals of pain followed by
silence , after several minutes of looking for her out she pops with
what was left of a mouse pretty well eaten and a rather happy look on
Fred21 Mar 2010 14:23 GMT2
Poor Fred.  I'm doing total hospice care for him now.  It's so sad each day
to see him like this.  But he's happy and in no pain, so I continue to
pretty much do everything for him. It's a real chore but I don't
mind....he's my boy.  I take him out several times each day and carry ...
Ecko-red15 Mar 2010 13:35 GMT-
Hello friends hope you all are fine and today I want to share some
thing like When I brought these Ecko Red Shoes home for my little
girl, she was extremely ecstatic. These were sneakers that her hero
Vanessa Hudgens wore and she was so happy to get a pair. She tried
Is anyone here?14 Mar 2010 05:39 GMT22
If I don't here from y'all soon, I'll have to post more links to boring
pictures of my 2 kids.  Both are doing well.
After Fred's near-death experience in December, he's finally getting fat
again.  He had lost lots of weight but is making up for it fast now.  He'll

dying guinea pig16 Mar 2010 08:55 GMT4
Peanut Butter, one of my female guinea pigs, is very close to death
now.  She had been sick for a while, and was  losing a lot of weight,
while drinking a lot of water.  She either had liver disease or
diabetes. She was at least 5 years old. She was given to me in 2006
overgrooming?15 Mar 2010 16:04 GMT4
We have two outdoor guinea pigs here in England, one male short-haired and
one female long-haired. They get on very well and thrive; they have a
heated, covered, solidly-built outdoor hutch and they get plenty of grass to
eat on our lawn.
How often do you clean the pig's cage?25 Jan 2010 15:12 GMT6
My daughter's pig needs to be cleaned out two or three times a week.
it's in a 2x3 cage.  This is that fat, mean pig.  I have to do
something here, anybody want the damned thing?  I could tell my
daughter it ran away from home or something.
regular Vets Exams03 Nov 2009 08:25 GMT3
I was wondering if I have to take my  guinea pig to the Vet for a
Yearly exaqmination. so far he has had no problems, but I am not
always so sure.
Mean pig26 Oct 2009 18:04 GMT9
My daughter's pig has gotten nasty lately.  In fact, you can't pick it
up without getting bit.  She's huge (the pig, not my daughter), almost
the size of a football.  She's so big it's hard to pick her out of her
cage.

Foods to watch out for07 Jan 2010 19:54 GMT1
I apologize if this has been asked recently, but I have a panda bear
hamster that I've had for well over a year now, and I feed him the usual
things. As treats, I give him Wise brand cheese doodles. Is feeding him
that considered a no-no? And if so, why? He seems to enjoy them ...
Yoo hoo! Where is everybody?17 Dec 2009 01:00 GMT7
The group has been really dead lately. It worries me
because I'm afraid of the group dying out.
We can't let that happen. I hope everyone and their
babies are doing well.
RIP Petey - 11/18/06 to 07/24/0917 Oct 2009 02:56 GMT1
Early this morning our dear little Petey finally left us.
Both his brothers left us some time ago, but the littlest one of them all
hung on until this morning, lasting just a couple months shy of 3 years with
us.
Color of Hamster urine16 Jul 2009 18:40 GMT11
I've noticed over the past month that the color of my  hamsters urine has
changed from a light color to a dark brown. Is this anything to be concerned
about?  Other than that there are no changes in his appetite, activity
level, appearance or demeanor.
Surprised07 Jul 2009 03:05 GMT1
Hey to those who remember me - Wendy from the UK!
I'm surprised that this group isn't thriving like it used to.  Such a shame.
I recall such lovely hamster caring folk.  Miss those days.  Life seemed so
simple back then.

Sore skin18 Mar 2010 20:58 GMT8
I wonder if anyone here has any ideas to help Dylan.
He has got red & sore skin on the inside of his back legs and round his
"bits". I think it may be urine scald as he had a clump of poop stuck in his
fur down there and was very smelly last night. He does sometimes get poopy

Pinkies!!!30 Oct 2009 22:13 GMT5
WHOOP! Cellistina had 5 pinkies and hid them!!! Just found out from
them squeeking. Look to be a couple days old, boys were shacked up
with Cell. (don't start please) judging by their behaviour I'd say
they both had a chance at her. Not CLUE that she was preggers, either

Yesterday, our most beloved rat, Ratchel, a gray, blazed huskey, died
suddenly. She was out of the cage, exploring in the living room when she
suddenly began dragging her hind legs. She pulled herself back under a
cabinet and was gone within seconds, apparently having suffered a
