Just wondering if it ios possible to mix different colour (say a red blonde

I have tetras with little spots on them and I understand it is some sort of
Whitespot or Ichthyophithirius.  What can I do for this?  Should I add salt
and if so, how much?  I have recently added new salt to the aquarium when I
started it two weeks ago.  Can I add too much?

I have read many posts regarding the temperature and amount of salt to

amounts from 1tsp/gal all the way to 3tbsp/gal.
3tbsp/gal is a lot of salt - especially if you are adding it to a 54

Today I went to the pet store to buy shampoo for my dog who seems to

entertainment while "catching" snails16 Jan 2004 01:48 GMT11
I have discovered a wonderful source of entertainment.
I have a 20-gal with a few corys, umpty-many mollies [number depends on
when I've last given some to the LFS], and gazillions of snails.  Every
so often, I float a few lettuce leaves to attract the snails, and after

paradise fish15 Jan 2004 23:02 GMT8
I bought four paradise fish under the premise from the shop assistant
that they were suitable for an unheated aquarium.  Three out of the four
have since died.  Is it possible that these are not suitable for coldwater
