Using my chlorine/chloramine/ammonia eliminator drops my pH by about 0.2 in 15 minutes, which is also what happens when I age the water for about 36 hours. So I'm thinking if I just age the water I can stop buying the purifier. But, I don't know whether ageing also eliminates ...

I've got an eheim 2213, and need to add Medication for Ich. Does the EhfiSubstrate absorb the meds, I put them in last night and this morning the water was crystal clear if not, any idea what happened to the blue tinge? Thanks as always :-)
