Has anyone bought freshwater plants or fish online? Does it work well? The fish stores in my area seem to be going downhill, so I am curious about this avenue. Thanks

What is the optimum level of nitrates to aim for, in a stable, heavily planted tank with fish? Second question: Compared to 20 years ago, a great deal of emphasis today is placed on the role of bacteria in the water filtration process.

I have three 2.5 " clowns, along with 3 angels and and 8 tiger barbs in a 55 gal. The loaches don't show any interest in flake food, but I got some frozen brine shrimp, and frozen blood worms, and they seem to like those when they can get to them before the barbs eat it all. If I ...

Hi I have a question/concern. My fish particularly the loaches and platies are frequently scrathing the tops of their heads on objects in the tank. I eradicated itch from the tank a month ago with salt, high heat, and aquarisol. I didn't see spots for 2 weeks but the fish ...
