I've checked around the web, reading websites and newsgroup postings, and from what I can glean, a single breeding of a female swordtail can lead to up to eight batches of young ... yet most sites that actually give a time lapse between batches indicate 28 days as the magic

As subject really - it's started appearing on some plants and it looks 'orrible. Any ideas on how to discourage it would be much appreciated. It's a trop 200l tank, community fish with normal levels on the usual tests.
