hi, a friend has started an aquarium abroad. they use the chlorine
neutraliser but have also been told to let the fresh tap water just stand
for an hour in the bucket before use.
would that make any sense? i suppose the idea might be to let some things

29 gallon freshwater unplanted tank holding:

4 silver-tip tetras

The water in my tank is green to the point that I can't see half way through
the tank. I've tried changing water without any success. The filters that
I'm using is a MAX350 and a large wet/dry filter with bio balls. Oh the tank
is 225 gallons. I even went to the point of cleaning ...

I have a Fluval 204 and it started making some "burping" noises last week. I
went to the store and they suggested replaceing the impeller shaft as it can
become damaged. I did this and everything was fine. Now its making the same
noises again. Any ideas?

I have a small (30 gall tank)  that I keep a few fish that don't fight.

Hi  all
I need some advice.  I want to switch back from salt water to fresh water,
is there anything I have to pay special attention to? or if you don't
mind, give me a rundown on how to reprepare the tank again.

Got our first salt water tank - 55 gallon w/ wet dry setup.
First Damsels are in and the amonia is starting to go up - so going pretty
good.  But the water is starting to get cloudy - kinda brownish.  Is this
something that is fixable chemically or do I need more mechanical ...

Would a black moor and an oranda be ok in a tropical tank????
