Hello Fish ... It's Me18 Jun 2004 05:28 GMT9
I am very amused by the intellectual level of fish.
Whenever I walk past my tank nearly all of my fish will follow me.
They only do it for me, which I believe is because they know that I am the
one to feed them.
Betta with frayed fins17 Jun 2004 05:06 GMT3
I have a betta who has a very tattered tail... I think he must have scraped
it up against the plants or something.  Will the fin repair itself and/or
grow back?
Thanks

Recommendations: Ph test kit?16 Jun 2004 16:06 GMT2
I have been using a tablet-based test kit. Apart from being messy,
crunching the tablet, I doubt its accuracy.
Any recommendations?
Thanks,

I have a 20-high freshwater tank.  Water is testing fine.  There are
about 15 swordtails in the tank of various ages (adult pair and their
fry that aren't big enough to go to the fish store yet plus the three
babies I kept from their first batch ... those are about 3 months old

World of Water Aquatic Centres15 Jun 2004 17:14 GMT5
I bought some fish today from a WoW store and was given a 48 hour fish
guarantee fish leaflet.
Reading it, it states that fish will be replaced if they die within 48 hours
provided your water conditions meet acceptable levels.

I did read through all the posts and couldn't find a definitive answer to
whether or not it was safe to melt down lead and make plant weights, so I'm
going to ask the group. I'm sure this has been answered but I'm sure you can
appreciate me being cautious as I don't want to harm my ...
