While I am a fish enthusiast I have never bred fish at all. Here is my story, Friday night I purchased some guppies to add to my 10 gallon tank. 4 females and 2 males.

I have been given a 15g 2' tank and am looking to set it up on a table against a wall in the living room. As the tank is glass and is 2' will it be okay on a table which is only 59cm wide if sat on polystyrene?

I have a large well established aquarium of freshwater tropical fish. It is landscaped with bog wood and heavily planted. Lighting is by two tubes, filtration via an external Eheim and water temperature 78. Until about 6 months ago I regularly threw away huge quantities of plants

We've got a Rena Kid Maxi Light tropical aquarium that uses special low voltage bulbs (10w - 12 volts). Our bulb has blown but we can't find any that sell these - most place only seem to sell the flourescent tubes. Anyone know where we can get one?
