We have a 10 gallon community tank that is a bit overstocked (aren't they all!!). Anyway it's gotten to the point where it is so dirty that I need to rip it apart and clean the gravel, plastic plants, deco, tank itself, etc ...

Does anyone here have any experience with natives (sunfish, madtoms, perches etc)? I've kept larger sunnies for long periods but am interested in trying dwarf sunfish and madtoms. Any advice? -Paul

my frogs started to get a whitish goo on them. the man at the local aqarium centre said it is a fungus and gave me this green liquid to put in the tank. he said to empty the tank to one third full then add a quater of the green stuff every day for four days.

Just after lights out I noticed one of my corys was upsidedown under one of the rocks in my tank.I have never seen any corys do this before,in fact I thought he was dead. Anyway,after a while he came out and is ok.Anyone know

I want to have a vigorous "air cuirtain" at a depth of approx 1.5 metres in an aquarium. Can anyone recommend an air pump that can deliver this? I have tried a copuple but at depth they give out a pitiful amount of bubbles! I have posted to rec.ponds as I suspect I might need ...
