I currently have a 4 foot tank running a Fluval 3 Internal Power Filter.
After reading the information about filters at netmaxs website it
appears I may have a crappy filter!

I've had my tank set up for about 3 to 4 months now... (the colder
months here in OZ..). as the days are starting to get warmer, I'm
beginning to wonder if I need to do anything other than to turn down

I currently have a 2.5 gallon aquarium setup with a Betta, and 3 cCory
Cats.  The Cory Cats average 3/4 of an inch.  the Betta is about 2
inches.  I have a Red Sea nano Mini Filter running on it currently.

The water where i live is very hard. so i started buying water from
wal-mart for my tank. I put distilled water in it this week. is tested
very soft:)anyone else put store bought water in there tank?

My Angels bred!
This is the second time it has happened, i am sure its the Angels because
there are on other pairs in the tank. Last time they bred they ate all the

I'm just wondering if it's safe to use an algae remover in a planted
tank?  I mean after all, algae is a plant too.  And yes, today I'm too
lazy to go the local pet store and ask them.  Some of my plants are even
beginning to get algae on them.  Guess I should fire my pleco!

I have a 1 gallon tank with a few guppies and a few small apple snails
in it.  It gets a regular partial water change weekly.
The problem is there are some small white thread like worms in the
tank.  Kind of look like pin worms.  Any ideas what they may be?

my baby guppy floating thing.
How long is it gonna take for his fins to regrow?
The culprits:  two red eye Tetra, i think...thats why i segregated
