I have a pleco that is about a year or so old, 8 inches long. He wasn't fed very well for most of his life and is not as big as I think he should be. I have him in a 50 gallon tank, and can now feed him well. At this age, can I expect him to grow any more?

I have a 55 gal tank with 3 gouramis, a female betta, two rams and a plec. We live in Idaho and we don't really have much problem with power outages other than the occasional one that lasts maybe an hour or so,...but I worry that a big one might be hard on the fish, or worse, cause ...
