to go into the tank? Boil the pot? Bleach it? Both? I know if i bleach it i
will have to let it wash off + dry well. Also, is it the same for wood? Even
if the wood is bought from the store? What about ...

I have recently moved my fish into a larger tank, it is a fairly new
setup (4 weeks) though the tank was second hand and the biological
filter was mature (though well within the recommended cleaning period,
and a quick inspection seems to suggests its all OK).
