"Pimple" on Fish25 Feb 2007 12:49 GMT19
I picked up some Corys from the LFS yesterday.  Last night I noticed that
one of them has a "pimple" just forward of its right pectoral fin, where the
fin joins the body.  The "pimple is off-white and about 1/16" in diameter.
Would this thing be a cancerous growth or a ...

Tank Lighting ?23 Feb 2007 02:16 GMT6
My  set up seems to suffer from greening of the small bridges and fish "
toys" in the tank and to some extent the water. We have a full pump filter
system in a 24 inch tank and the only real change is to the strip lighting.
I think the choice was either tropical ( the cheaper option) ...

All people with opposing views on  this group will be nit picked and
harassed by the foul mouth Tristan and his arrogant sidekick Tynk... panties

total control of these groups..... like communism only one ...

Hi, I have just three clown loaches in a 60 litre juwell tank. I'm away on

Can anyone recommend one and who to buy from on-line (I'll check my local
shop first, of course!).

Python Syphon question?09 Feb 2007 07:32 GMT1
I'm thinking of purchasing a Python Syphon, I have tapes in the fish
house I can connect it to, but there is no drain underneath the taps,
I do have a waste pipe leaving the fish house that I usually shphon
into which leads to a drain outside the fish house.
Urgent advice Red Tailed Shark08 Feb 2007 15:27 GMT2
We've had a Red Tail Shark in our tank for a while. I would estimate about
6-8 years. Over the last couple of years it looks like he has developed
something under his scales on his side. All gis scales are lifting. He still
seems lively enough but I fear the worst.

started  some months ago, to counter  the "off-Topic'  stuff posted on these
news groups..   I believe  "net-max"  was involved.

Does anyone have experience with the Magnum 350 Pro and/or the Fluval
405?
North London Juwel bits04 Feb 2007 21:55 GMT2
We did have a thread a while back that if you lived in Wood Green or
Palmers Green there wasn't much in the way of shops to buy Juwel bits.
Most of the time I ended up either going to one of the Aquaria centres
at Crews Hill, or Wholesale Tropicals in Bethnal Green (great place
