You'll never get the information in a pet store.
There are 2 reasons:
1. They don't know
2. They don't care.
External Pump17 Apr 2007 22:51 GMT6
I'm looking for an external water pump to pump the water up to 1.50m
above. It should be a small capacity ( < 20W) self-priming pump,
something having 2 pipes , one for the intake (to be sunk into the
water) an the other for the outake.

How hard is a salt water tank to set up and maintain?06 Apr 2007 09:52 GMT4
I'm thinking I might want to try a salt water tank and I was wondering
how hard it was to set up and maintain.  And how expensive ( not
considering the price of the tank.)
Off hand, what is the percent of salt in salt water? (Just curious.)
