Pet Canaryand Tampa International Airport29 Jun 2004 00:32 GMT6
I've had my canary almost a year, and really don't want to find a home for
him.  I've been getting homes for my other birds.  My intent is to take him
on the flight with me, in the cabin.  I've done my research for the airlines
themselves.
New young Canary making 'clicking' noise sometimes.  Please help ! 29 Jun 2004 00:08 GMT1
We just bought a Canary.  Sometimes when you go near it, a clicking sound is
made by the Canary without the beak moving.  I've read how respiratory mites
could cause this when the Canary breathes.  This does not happen all the

I know that the pair are usually kept together while the hen lays, but if the

Quaker w/ hurt toe28 Jun 2004 01:53 GMT20
Some of you may remember my post a while back asking if it was ok to have
Quakers and Budgies together. Numerous responses stated that I could quite
possibly end up w/Budgies getting their toes bitten off. Well, I have taken
every precaution to prevent that and have had no problems ...
the perfect parrot!26 Jun 2004 16:51 GMT77
I've been thinking (yeah, yeah, I know) and have come to the
conclusion that, for me, cockatiels are the Perfect Parrot.  They have
all the personality you could want in a bird, some are good talkers
and whistlers, their poops are manageable, their size makes them easy

Hello fellow bird lovers,
My husband and I have two parrots, one Meyers and one Senegal. Wonderful

Rescue- cockatiel24 Jun 2004 09:16 GMT4
Hello all.. I am getting a nine year old cockatiel, and I need some
advise. While I have had cockatiels before, is there anything I have
to do differently since this bird is 9? (How long will he live? I
won't bring him home and have him die on me, will he?)

New Parrot & Books for a Beginner23 Jun 2004 11:37 GMT6
I am considering getting a parrot and have been told that Pionus
Maximilian, Poicephalus Jarddine's and Poicephalus Brown heads are all
good natured and relatively quiet. If I understand correctly,
Jardine's and Brown heads are less nippy or nervous of the
