We have a pair of budgies, and this is the first time we've let them breed. The hen laid her first egg on Jun 21. Over the next week she added two more, and only after the third did she actually start to sit on them.

Yesterday I noticed my budgie was stretching his neck and opening his mouth, which I've always assumed was something like "gagging", or having a food caught in it's throat. It happens occasionally, but he always stops after a while so I've never given it much thought.
