Whilst on the subject of budgies, I thought I'd mention this too. I have an outside aviary containing ten budgies. A couple of days ago, I noticed a lone herring gull stood against the wire staring intently at my birds. I banged on the window and it flew away.

I have a pet budgie and he usually gets a visti to the vet twice a year to get his wings and nails clipped. This year, we didn't get a chance to bring hime before the cold weather set in. I don't like to transport the bird to the vet in the cold because I'm always afraid
