African Cockatoo.. EGGS not hatching!!! HELP!!!129 Jul 2005 21:10 GMT25
I have a pair of African cockatoos, two months back they laid 2 eggs,
after about 15 days I saw about 4 more eggs. A month passed by, the
parrots took turns on incubating them but no sign of chicks yet.
After a month, to my shock and bewilderment I saw there were about 12
Parakeet tipping head to one side29 Jul 2005 01:59 GMT2
started doing it a few days ago.  Seems to be fine otherwise, still
eating and lots of vocalizations, just always holds it's head sharply
tilted to one side.  Suggestions greatly appreciated.
thanks
Grey Macaw??29 Jul 2005 00:17 GMT2
Was watching a show on Animal Planet. What caught my eye was they were
working with people who had "problem pets" and I spotted an African Grey.
They were calling it a "Grey Macaw". I was only really paying attention when
they had the bird on, so I missed a lot of it, but it ...
Small cage w/ seed guards for finches29 Jul 2005 00:13 GMT2
Hi, I'm looking for a nice cage for a pair of zebra finches.  In
particular, I'd like a cage that prevents most of the seed waste from
flying out.  Do any of you have any recommendations?  I'm wondering if
one of the Hagen Vision cages would be the best bet.

Crazy Corn25 Jul 2005 11:53 GMT2
I bought this TW8060CORN-1 Crazy Corn Original at Birdalog.com.  I cooked
the mixture and tasted it out of curiosity and it is red hot. I mean really
, really spicy.  Is this okay for a Parakeet?

RED PALM OIL24 Jul 2005 00:56 GMT4
Has anyone used this and, if so, any ideas from where it can be ordered? My
concern is this: bacteria and the pureness of it.

Does anyone know which kind of bird is this?23 Jul 2005 00:47 GMT14

It has come to my garden in the outskirts of Madrid (Spain) from elsewhere.
The ecologist authorities don't know what it is, but they say they cannot
care, because it is not a protected bird. About the size, it seems to be
house sparrow22 Jul 2005 11:37 GMT9
hi, sorry for my english :)
We've found a little "house sparrow",  nine days ago, it's learning to fly,
and  it's eating fine, however it did`nt eat by itself. And we see that it's
losing its down. Do you know if it's normal? Where can we found information
New Mustached 'Keet19 Jul 2005 22:54 GMT3
Well, my mustached parrot came home yesterday!  We are probably going
to name him/her "Cisco."  He has yet to make any sounds, LOL, but I am
sure this will change eventually.  He seems to be settling in well, but
I have one question: he won't take food treats from our hands.

How long is it safe to leave fresh food out for a Parakeet?

Quaker Parrot Dance--Courtship??Mating??Problem??18 Jul 2005 16:43 GMT3
Hello, I've never posted so apologies if this isn't done properly.  I
know nothing about birds and have been "quaker-sitting" for about 7
months now.  She seems healthy and happy in general but today I saw
something odd and unusual... she was slowing crossing her perch back
Herb Salad Just for Birds16 Jul 2005 18:25 GMT7
Herb Salad for birds is incredible.  I have been shocked by how much
the Gouldian's LOVE this product. Besides eating it so quickly, the
other issue I noticed was how their droppings changed, for the better!
Herb Salad is 22 organically grown herbs that have been chosen
