How often do Budgies molt?

how can you tell if your zebra finch egg is dead or alive?

Don't even know if 'birding' is a word, but... hopefully you get my meaning.
Bought a nice sized cage several years ago... have decided it's finally a
good time to get a couple little birdies.  I love watching them when I visit
pet stores.

I have a new SI Eclectus (7 Month Old Male) and he seems to have some
weight fluctuations and/or loss.  He was gaining weight, up to 376
grams about a month ago. Now he's down to 355.  He was sneezing a
couple of weeks ago and I got some ant-biotics that seem to have fixed

Does such a bird exist? My grandma is thinking about getting a pet
bird for company but she doesn't want one that's too loud, too big,
too flighty or too nervy. Ideally, she'd like one that doesn't mind
being handled/played with.

My zebra finch had laid six eggs.  Today one of hatched.  Is there anything
that I should do so that as many as possible live?  Also, how long until I
can take them away from their mom?  This is going to be a neat experience.

I dump, wipe and refill Peaches' (lovebird) water dish twice every day.  She
loves taking baths and will dunk herself in the water dish every couple of

Henri (Henrietta-Green and yellow female parakeet) has been a member of
