We *had* 2 male zebra finches for a few months, and yesterday the worst
happened.
I was hoovering up the living room while my g/f was cleaning the birds cage

Me, not the bird lol..Is there anything you can do to lessen the dander
a pet bird has, for people wanting to keep one?? I am allergic to
"birds" and think it's the dander they shed, hence my question. And
which type of birds are low maintanance rather than the more complicated

After 7+ years I decided to get my AG a new cage. Her present cage was
a Prevue 125 (smalless for AG), but okay since she is out basically
all of her waking hours. WAnted something more furniture like and went

I've had my red eclectus parrot for a few years now and I always
thought it was a boy. I just discovered that 'he' has laid an egg on
the bottom of 'his' cage.
