Can I feed roadkill to my seagulls?28 Feb 2006 01:02 GMT2
Found a couple of newly splattered rabbits on the road today. I picked
them up and took them home, thinking that my gulls might like them.
Anyway, I thought I'd check with the experts here before I let the
boys have the bunnies. I know that gulls eat this sort of stuff in the

Hello Everyone;
Hope all's well with one & all.
I'm from "San Diego, CA." and I've been a "canary-enthusiast" since I was 5
yrs. old (...by the way, I'm now just over 35)!
What to feed my bird26 Feb 2006 21:51 GMT1
I have a male Society Finch and he's about four years old.  Lately I've
been wondering about whether I've been feeding him a good diet.  Just
how much protein, fat, carbs and fiber does he need?  I've been looking
at the Guaranteed Analysis chart on the packages and I can't figure ...

Macaw hates my new hairdo... :)21 Feb 2006 00:16 GMT6
I just had it dyed bright red today (I'm a punk, so I can get away
with it... :) ) and my macaw, Sid doesn't like it one bit. He really
freaked out when I first walked in with it.
Now, he keeps giving me funny looks and refuses to sit on my shoulder.
Is it possible to own a Kea as a pet?19 Feb 2006 17:55 GMT18
It's just idle curiosity at the moment but I've been reading quite a
bit about keas online recently and I was wondering as to the
availability of captive-bred birds in the UK. Anyone know if you can
legally buy/own them over here?

I have a newly adopted U2.  He's 6 years old,
and reasonably social, allows petting, but his former parents don't
appear to have trained him in the basics, including even the basic "step
up" command.

Budgie -- How Much Pellet Food14 Feb 2006 23:47 GMT1
If we gradually switch our two budgies over to pellets, about how much
would each one eat each day? An ounce? A tablespoon? A quarter cup?
Okay, kidding about the last one.

Dear Group,
I have a pair of Eclectus parrots.  They were moved to an out door
aviary a year ago.  At that time both male and female looked the same
with smooth and dense feathers covering their bodies. (no skin visible)
