Can anyone tell me if such a bird breed exists and if so, where I can find online references? I couldn't find anything through Google but maybe I was not looking in the right place or maybe there is an analogous name. (Please reply here.) Mark

| Adopted a Goffin Cockatoo | 26 May 2006 03:24 GMT | 1 |
I just wanted to share the news that we adopted a 2 year old Goffin cockatoo named Madison. He is a cute little thing compared to our big boy Buddy. He came from a home where the woman's daughter is going to have a baby and well it seems that the bird had to go. (sigh)

My 7 year old sun conure recently wounded herself in the upper chest area & started bleeding. We rushed her to a vet (not Avian...it was a Saturday morning...closest one is over an hour away) and they patched her up with tissue glue. She was healing nicely, but just couldn't leave ...

| Broken wing? | 09 May 2006 22:20 GMT | 5 |
I'm think my 6 yr old budgie may have fractured his wing. It seems loose and he keeps it further from his body than the other. He flew into a mirror the other day, so it is possible that he could have hurt himself. I was wondering if a broken wing needs a vet and if there is
