Budgie playgym questions28 Jun 2006 06:26 GMT25
Hi, I was wondering how to get my two budgies onto their playgym. I can
get them out of the cage with treats, but whenever I try to get them on
the gym, they panic and run around on the floor. I have a Vision cage
with a stand, so it might be the fact that they are higher up than ...
parakets27 Jun 2006 20:48 GMT3
I have 2 parakets and they LOVE peas. I have checked sseveral recipes and
none mention peas. Should I not give them peas (green peas).  They eat  peas
and strawberries, corn better than anything else.  They are not tame because
I have 2 cats and I don't want them out of the cage. ...

Wild Budgie Article25 Jun 2006 23:30 GMT2

This is so interesting.  Did you know that the wild budgie flock nomadically
follows the rain storms because of the quickly germinating grass (2 days)
which follow rain?  They survive on seed but require green to begin the
Found an injured Blackbird25 Jun 2006 01:11 GMT2
We found a blackbird today that seems to have injured its back leg or legs.
I was just wondering if anyone knows how to potentially treat/help this
problem.  The bird seems to be settled down now and is resting.  I was
able to feed it a worm about 1 1/2 hours ago.  Does anyone also ...
Lori Food Needed -- Urgent!23 Jun 2006 17:40 GMT8
My sister is unable to find the preferred food for her 2-year-old Lori,
Max.  He is becoming depressed and anxious, and she is concerned he may
start dropping weight.  Apparently the food is manufactured in Germany
and, due to some change in the packaging or some such nonsense, the ...

molting nicely for the recent 3 years around spring. As she molted she
lost very many feathers including all her long wing and tail feathers.
What a beauty she became thereafter. Like she had a new dress by a top
