Budgies and black feather spots31 Jul 2006 21:50 GMT5
I just wondered if it was possible to estimate the age of a budgie

We rescued our budgie a few weeks ago, and the vet said he was quite a
young bird (she's pretty sure he's mail, but the cere isn't at full

Java Rice Finch with odd cheek balding29 Jul 2006 22:03 GMT4
We have a few hand tame Java Rice Finches raised from two seperate clutches

spots on her cheeks where she seems to be scratching herself.  At first I
just assumed it was because she was molting, but the patches ...

new cockatiel owner--worried23 Jul 2006 22:17 GMT93
We recently acquired a young cockatiel a few days ago.  I am
trying to follow all of the instructions from the "bird person"
at the pet store.  I don't yet have a feel for the bird's range of
behavior, or what might indicate a problem.

Taming/training budgies22 Jul 2006 22:09 GMT2
I have two budgies. One I got 7 months ago ( listed at the store as a
baby budgie) and the other I purchased in September. Neither's cere

Any outdoor bird parks?21 Jul 2006 16:51 GMT43
For years I've had this dream of building an outdoor bird park,
a place where bird owners who live in apartments and other
small places could take their pets to fly around, sit in trees for
a few hours etc.  The roof would be screened, there'd be
