| Budgie questions | 29 Nov 2006 03:10 GMT | 2 |
I'm thinking of adopting an english budgie. Are there any sex-specific things I can find out? Like with lovebirds, I understand the males are less likely to be biters. Does either sex in budgies tend to talk more?

| Laminating machine? | 26 Nov 2006 23:38 GMT | 5 |
Is a laminating machine safe to use around a pet lovebird? I'm thinking of putting a new one on the shelf below where I have the playpen. I'm not sure if the fumes could hurt the bird though, or whether I should only use it when the bird is in the other rooms, or whether it

Hi everyone. I'm new to the bird owners world, and bought a baby male parakeet on Sunday. I haven't brought him to a vet yet, as it's very very cold outside and I would have to take public transportation, so i'm avoiding it unless it's absolutly neccesary. He seems fine, except ...

| More Neighbors' Ducks Questions | 14 Nov 2006 05:21 GMT | 6 |
I've been feeding my neighbor's ducks "salad stuff" (different lettuces, cabbage, carrots, etc, all shredded) as well as some grapes. Today I started giving them some poultry scratch that I got at wal-mart. It doesn't have any medicines in it. But it also doesn't have any protein. ...
