my husband bathed,clipped the feathers on the injured wing, and we wrapped him. does anyone know if since we wrapped him, hopefully stopping the bleeding, will we hurt him more? and is this bird going to be dangerous, as far as disease to our other pets?

i have a very bad habbit. i pick up every injured animal. it comes from being a stray myself. my dog (labrador retriever) brought us home a pigeon. He (the pigeon) is broken and bloody. He's holes in him everywhere. My husband bathed him, and is bandaging him up. i'm not sure

i've only kept bugdies and cockatiels in the past but i'm thinking of getting a larger more chalenging bird, now i have more time on my hand's i can dedicate more to a larger bird. the question is what breed would be best?..... the largest bird i have

On Jan 25 I posted that my B&G macaw had laid two eggs. She's tended them faithfully and her mate has supported her (feeding her) since then. I read that the incubation period is 26 to 30 days but it's now a week over that. She's still tending the the eggs as previously.
