Okay, I have heard that Sun Conures are know for screeching but what can I do....he/she is okay if he's with me or eating but leave him alone, even after saying bye before I leave, and he starts screeching and might stop for a few minutes but as soon as he hears or sees

I just brought home a parakeet who has a dark, almost black cere with a granulated appearance. I'm not sure if this is a case of mites or if it's a female parakeet who is sexually mature. Here's a couple of pictures of the bird's cere:

Well I took my newley accuired rescue macaw to the vet today for an exam and trim. All went well, but she told me to not feed alot of the seed type food. She recomended some sort of froot loops type stuff and ( zupreen) I think. Anyone have any experince with this and what do ...
