Hi! I just adopted five society finches that were unwanted by another
family.  I believe that two are the parents of the other three.  I am
interested in having babies and will be getting another big cage
asap.  Right now, there is a nest in the cage and all five birds are

i Just bought a hand raised white face cockatiel about two weeks ago,
He is only about 10 weeks old. He has a white face with his body
spotted with a mixture of grey and white. The lady didn't know what
sex he is but she said after they have their first malt you can tell

a relative told me that the dust parrot type birds shed can cause
breathing problems for my baby.is there any truth to this?
is it a dust lung clogging problem or an allergy problem?in families
with this issue are there things you can buy (cage extractor fan?)

A friend looked after my 18 month canary while I was on holiday for 4
weeks. When I collected him he had white scale or deposits on both
feet, he pecked it all off one foot a most of the other, but it keeps
returning and it bothers him. I live in a country area in Sicily

Our budgie is 11 years old and the last couple of weeks he's had diarrhoea.
Is this just because he's an old fella?  there have been no changes to his
diet and we haven't been giving him any "soft" food like grass or spinach
lately.  Do we need to take him to a Bird Vet or is this ...

I have been using California Cage Cleaner for years to clean our
conure's California cage.  I had a large supply, and have just run
out, and cannot find this product listed anywhere on the web.  They
don't even mention it at California Cage Company's web site.  Has this

MY cockateil died today and Im not sure why..... It has been very
(seemingly) healthy and vocal--eating & drinking normally.....but

my parakeet i have 2 but not sure if they are both females or male and
female. the lighter bird climbs all over the cage and literally filps
upside down making her underbelly stick out i guess for breeding? but
they are young we just got them a few weeks ago. and until today alls
