I have a yellow lab female who just cross-bred with a half zebra and half
something else. I'm curious if anyone has had these cross breeding mbunas live?
are they worth separating out? the zebra is the reult of my saving another
brood.

Ok, the title sucks....
I am working on my multiple tank system (6 tanks on a rack)... I just
bought a Medo AC0602 Linear piston pump to run my sponge filters and
everything else in 6 to 8 tanks that are between 14" to 18" in depth..

I can't figure out exactly what this fish is. Bought it recently
because of its nice reddish color.
Could it be a Tropheus Brichardi?

Tonight while feeding some baby angelfish my wife noticed something in their
tank.  There was a very hard to see "thing" in with the fish.  The thing was
much smaller than a human hair and was .25" in length.  It had a bump at one
end that I would presume is its head.  It was white ...

2 port cichlids in a 20gal long have done it!
Surpise hatchlings.  I have a 10 gallon I can use
to house the new babies but what after that?

I've had my tank for about 6 months..
55 Gal.
Had 5 Convicts, A blue acura, and  A dempsey.
Bought some fire mouths and a dragon fish..

Does anyone know about what size a convict reaches sexual maturity?  Also,
how long before you can tell sex?  I know females get the redish/orange
spot.  Thanks.

I have read differing stories about this fish. one says the are a scale
eater and the other doesn't. could anyone tell me which is true
