My bio-wheels aren't turning :(31 Aug 2003 04:46 GMT6
The wheels on my Penguin 330 aren't turning. I switched out the filter media
& made sure there was nothing blocking the wheels, as per the
troubleshooting guide in the manual. Anything else I can check? Maybe the
flow of water has decreased for some reason? The whole thing is maybe ...
Blue Rams30 Aug 2003 15:13 GMT5
I was in a fish store yesterday and saw a very crowded tank of Rams.  They
were good size, at least 1.5" and their colors were fantastic however they
all had torn tails.  About the last 25% of the tails were either split or
partially missing.  The owner said the would grow back.  Is ...

OK I was doing a water change last night on my krebensis cichlid tank
and see a few tails are missing. Looks like the fin part has been
surgically removed. What's up with that? Have they been chewed off due
to stress between the fish? There are about 15 in a 40 gallon tank,
African Cichlids inches or fish per gallon (pls respond)27 Aug 2003 06:04 GMT2

Keyhole's26 Aug 2003 21:12 GMT6
A friend recommended these Chichlids as a good fish for a community tank.
He said they are totally non aggressive, and will be fine with my platties,
zebra danios, and neons.  I've got a 55G, with mostly slow growing plastic
plants (lol) and a live anubias nana due to the low ...
